Advising

To make an advising appointment, please click on the "Find Your Advisor" button for a list of our current advisors with their direct MU Connect link. As a business student, you will have direct access to your advisor’s calendar and be able to schedule an appointment for a time that works for both of you. 

Find Your Advisor

You can meet with an academic advisor during walk-in hours, Monday through Thursday, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. in 104 Cornell Hall. Walk-in advising is best suited for quick, time-sensitive topics such as:

• Current Semester Questions (Dropping or Withdrawing from a Course)
  • Walk-in advising is not available for discussions about next semester’s courses or graduation plans.
• Deadline/Time Sensitive Issues
• For Non-Business Students:
  • Minor/Certificate Questions
  • Removing a College of Business Hold

If your concern falls outside these areas, our team will guide you to schedule an appointment with your assigned advisor for more in-depth assistance.

Peer advisors are fellow Trulaske business students who know exactly what you’re going through! See a peer advisor Monday through Thursday in 104 Cornell Hall, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. See a peer advisor for the following reasons:

• How to add/drop/withdraw from a class
• How to submit various forms/documents such as Late Add, Term Withdrawal, or GPA Adjustment forms
• How to view and understand registration holds
• How to create a schedule based on your advisor’s course recommendations
• Finding general education courses
