High-impact practices (HIPs) at the Trulaske College of Business are grounded in the Missouri Method, the University of Missouri’s signature approach to education centered on learning by doing.
Experience-centered learning is embedded across our curriculum, enabling students to apply business concepts in real-world and professional contexts. Programs like Trulaske Edge, Career Pathways, Programs of Distinction and a required internship ensure students graduate with valuable professional skills, relevant experiences and a network of connections.
Additional high-impact opportunities include service learning, study abroad, research with faculty mentors, and participation in case competitions. Robust student organizations and emerging tools such as simulations and ePortfolios also support professional development and career readiness.
