Marketing focuses on creating and managing customers by studying business activities that connect consumers with goods. The degree deals with the strategies, tactics and business processes involved in researching markets, deciding which markets and segments to pursue, identifying what unique value to provide and then assembling the products, services, people and partner firms needed to build, communicate and deliver that value.
The marketing major is designed for those students who are seeking an in-depth knowledge of the tools, concepts and practice of modern marketing. This program prepares students for a career in marketing, sales or distribution. It focuses on activities that direct the flow of goods and services to the consumer or user. Courses include marketing management, promotion, sales management and logistics management. Course topics in this area include sales, advertising, sales promotion, retail, brand management and distribution, marketing management, promotion, sales management and logistics management.
All students who complete our program will earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.
