In BA 3500, students take what they have learned in the classroom and put it into practice through a professional team-based project with a real business client. Students meet weekly with their project teams and are coached by the instructor and a graduate student project manager. Throughout the semester, students conduct market research and develop a report and presentation for the client that provides business findings and recommendations. Projects serve corporations, small businesses, government and educational organizations, and nonprofits throughout Missouri in partnership with MU Extension and the MU Office of Service-Learning.

BA 3500 Edge Projects Overview
As part of the University of Missouri’s land-grant mission, the Trulaske College of Business aims to serve businesses within our state. BA 3500 Edge projects address a challenge or opportunity facing today’s businesses, nonprofit organizations, and governmental/educational organizations. Students research the assigned topic and share findings and recommendations with their client in a presentation and written report at the end of the semester. Projects are part of the Advanced Professional Development course within the Trulaske Edge program.
