Recruiters & Business Partners

Want to share your knowledge or provide real world experience for our students? Maybe you prefer to work behind the scenes to make a difference. There are so many ways you and your business can get involved with the Trulaske College of Business. How will you connect?

Share your experience

We believe that a world-class education in business and accounting must be current and relevant, informed by successful executives and entrepreneurs.

The college collaborates extensively with the business community to enrich the education of students. More than 200 executives visit the college each academic year on a volunteer basis to share their expertise and experience with students and faculty members.

These excursions, termed "Field-Trip Fridays" for undergraduates, and simply "Company Site Visits" for MBAs, are an opportunity for your company to host a student group for a day. This is a great way to share information about your company and help students prepare for the transition to the working world. It’s also an excellent way to meet Mizzou’s top talent.

Employers engage in a panel discussion followed by lunch with students. During the panel discussion, employers will respond to questions geared towards the job search, MBA skills desired by employers, and how students can make the most of their experience within the program.

The conference focuses on developing leadership skills with professional facilitation form corporate sponsors. An employer leads a presentation on how students can master the interview process. Various interview styles including behavior-based, case study, emotional intelligence, are shared along with sample questions. A PowerPoint presentation will be provided, if needed, and the employer will work closely with a Business Career Services staff member in providing training to students.

Employers spend approximately 30 minutes with each student to either review individual resumes OR conduct mock interviews and provide verbal feedback. In addition, employers complete a brief written evaluation form to be shared with each student through the Business Career Services Office.
