To be considered a candidate for the completion of a graduate degree or graduate certificate, you must complete all necessary paperwork as well as the Application for Completion of Degrees, Certificates and Minors by the posted deadlines. Late submissions will be processed in the order received AFTER all submissions made by the deadline are finalized. Failure to meet the deadlines will result in the delay or postponement of your graduation.

- Ceremonies and Events -- Students attend the ceremony coordinated through the Graduate School. (Trulaske College of Business ceremony is for undergraduate students ONLY)
- Online students may attend the campus ceremony and will also be recognized through Mizzou Online

Graduate Certificates
A Graduate Certificate Plan of Study form must be submitted to the Graduate School at least one term before the conferral of the certificate. If completing a certificate with a master’s degree, you will need to apply for completion of both programs. Graduate certificates may appear on students’ transcripts but do not appear on diplomas. Certificate-only students will not attend a commencement ceremony.
