The Trulaske College of Business hosted its inaugural Research Day on September 6, to highlight the meaningful research being conducted by college faculty.

Eight presenters – two each from the departments of Management, Marketing, Accounting and Finance – provided a sneak- peak into their research. Each ten-minute presentation described a recently published paper, forthcoming research or research that is in the early stages of development. Presenters were asked to describe their work to an audience of non-experts, so that the staff, student and faculty attendees could more easily appreciate the real-world application of each research topic, as well as the breadth of research interests of the Trulaske faculty.

This event was designed to celebrate faculty research, provide a way for researchers to discover what their colleagues are doing and encourage collaborations both within the Trulaske College of Business and across campus. It was followed by a reception in Cornell Hall, during which attendees were encouraged to interact with the presenters and ask questions about their research.

The college plans to make this an annual event.
