Scholars programs at the Trulaske College of Business are designed to provide prominent business student leaders with additional opportunities, knowledge and resources to thrive during their time at Mizzou. In addition to financial scholarships, these programs offer corporate site visits and professional development in a variety of emphasis areas and industries. Students must apply to become a member of these programs, and both programs are open to incoming and returning students.
Alongside corporate site visits to TRUE Manufacturing and Kaldi’s Coffee, Trulaske Scholars receive a financial scholarship that is renewable for a maximum of four years. Trulaske Scholars are required to work 10-12 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters or 30 hours over the summer. Applicants should show evidence of leadership abilities and other activities, and the program is available to students pursuing an emphasis in Accounting, Marketing, Management, Economics or Finance and Banking.
The Walton Scholars program, established in 1992, provides students with corporate site visits to companies such as Google, Edward Jones, Hireology, Hallmark, Morningstar Financial, Wrigley Field and Leo Burnett. In addition, Walton Scholars participate in monthly professional development opportunities and receive a financial scholarship that is renewable for four years. You can apply to become a member if you are an incoming or continuing business student pursuing an emphasis in Marketing, Management or Finance and Banking with the intent of pursuing a career in retail.
