Over 160 companies attend first in-person Business Career Fair since 2020
For the first time since the spring of 2020, students and employers were face-to-face at the bi-annual Business Career Fair on March 3, 2022.
Over 160 employers were at MizzouRec to network with and recruit Mizzou students for full-time positions and internship opportunities across the globe. The Business Career Fair is hosted by the Trulaske College of Business and is open to all students at MU. In addition to networking and career exploration, students could have a professional headshot taken.
Matt Reiske, director of Business Career Services, said over 800 students attended the event throughout the day.
"We’ve been able to navigate the virtual world the past two years, but students and employers were definitely ready for an in-person event," Reiske said. "Our Trulaske students took advantage of the networking opportunities presented by the diverse group of employers."
Business Career Services assists Trulaske students in landing competitive positions across the nation - and the world. In addition to career fairs, BCS offers individual resume and cover letter critiques, workshops on career topics, mock interviews, 1-on-1 career coaching and more.
