Jill Wood

Jill Wood is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Management Department at the University of Missouri’s Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business. Dr. Wood teaches Advanced Professional Development and other courses within the Edge Program. Dr. Wood brings over 30 years of experience to her teaching, including serving as the Chief HR Officer for an organization of 3,000 employees and delivering employee leadership development programs for over 15 years. She also served as a management consultant in the Strategic Change practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting.

Amber Bussey

Amber Bussey is an office support assistant for the Department of Marketing at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business. Bussey is the mother of two young men, whom she adores. In her spare time, she enjoys keeping up with their various activities such as basketball, football, and youth ministry. In 2014, she decided to settle down in Columbia to raise her family. In that transition, Bussey developed a passion for academics and working in the community. She serves on the board of several nonprofit organizations, including as treasurer for Columbia Supreme.

Tim Hill

Tim Hill joined the Trulaske College of Business in 2012 as an academic advisor before eventually becoming an instructor of business administration in 2017 and assistant teaching professor in 2023. Hill teaches courses in professional development, including Foundations of Business and Professional Development Principles, Intermediate Professional Development, and Advanced Professional Development. He brings extensive experience in higher education and student affairs to his teaching. Tim earned his master of education in educational leadership and policy analysis from Mizzou in 2014.

Katie Essing

Katie Essing is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Marketing Department at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, University of Missouri. She is currently teaching retail and digital marketing courses. Essing is an alum of the Trulaske College of Business and was a Sam Walton Scholar. She has over 30 years of experience in marketing, buying, retail, commercial real estate and nonprofit management.
