Tim Hill joined the Trulaske College of Business in 2012 as an academic advisor before eventually becoming an instructor of business administration in 2017 and assistant teaching professor in 2023. Hill teaches courses in professional development, including Foundations of Business and Professional Development Principles, Intermediate Professional Development, and Advanced Professional Development. He brings extensive experience in higher education and student affairs to his teaching. Tim earned his master of education in educational leadership and policy analysis from Mizzou in 2014. He also holds a bachelor of arts in biblical studies and a minor in English from Evangel University. His scholarly interests include preparing Generation Z for the workforce, maximizing strengths development, and strength-based teams and leadership. He is actively involved in professional organizations including the National Association of Colleges and Employers. In 2023, Hill became a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, and regularly leads workshops with students, staff and faculty regarding how to understand and aim talents to achieve personal and organizational goals more effectively. In his free time, Hill can be found spending time with his family, including his wife, Kelly, and two children, Gideon and Naomi.
