Yang Bai is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Finance at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, University of Missouri. Bai's research interests include empirical asset pricing, corporate fraud and litigation, and machine learning in finance. Before starting doctoral studies, he worked as a data scientist for an insurance company, developing advanced analytical algorithms and models. Bai received both his Master's degree in statistics and his Bachelor's degree in mathematics from University of Georgia. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) with Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
