Laura Theissen serves as the assistant director for human resources, covering the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, MU Extension and the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. She returned home to Missouri in 2023 and worked for University Advancement, serving as the director of principle giving strategy for a year. Her prior career kept her traveling the globe working for the Central Intelligence Agency, where she had the honor of working with some of the most incredible Americans the world will never know. She resides in Columbia with her husband, son and rescue beagle.
