Joseph Hegger is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Finance Department at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, University of Missouri. Hegger returned to Mizzou from the commercial real estate industry and most recently served as principal and senior vice president at Colliers Turley Martin Tucker in St. Louis, where he spent 19 years. He supervised the firm’s Corporate Operations Group and, in addition, was responsible for the operation of the Real Estate Management Services Group, the largest third-party provider of management services in the Central United States. Hegger earned a BSBA from the University of Missouri and he has maintained strong ties to the college by serving on the Crosby MBA Program Advisory Board and previously on the college’s Strategic Planning Team. In addition, in 2006, Hegger was presented with the college’s highest honor, the Alumni Citation of Merit. Hegger and his wife, Stacey, who is also an MU graduate, are members of the college’s Davenport Society.
