Jaya Ghosh
Jaya Ghosh is an Adjunct Professor in the Management Department at the Robert J. Trulaske Sr. College of Business, the Program Director of the Coulter Biomedical Accelerator, and the Lead Program Manager of the Midwest Biomedical Accelerator Consortium (MBArC) at the University of Missouri. She is also a Program Manager for the NIH Concept to Clinic: Commercializing Innovation (C3i) Program. Before joining the MU Coulter Program, Ghosh was the Engineering Fellow for the MU Biodesign & Innovation Program.
Coulter and MBArC bridge the gap between academic research and industry by accelerating the translation of biomedical innovations into products that improve patient care. As Director and Lead Program Manager, Ghosh is responsible for managing all processes associated with selection, review, de-risking, funding and tracking of Coulter and MBArC projects. She also teaches the Coulter/MBArC Business Boot Camp. MANGMT 8200: Commercialization of Life Science Innovations, taught by Ghosh and offered in conjunction with the Boot Camp, is designed to provide students with experiential learning in biomedical innovation and entrepreneurship. During this course, students work hand-in-hand with translational project teams to develop commercialization plans for their innovative technologies.
