David Johnson

David Johnson is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Finance Department at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, University of Missouri - Columbia. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Tennessee and has held faculty positions at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, University of Northern Colorado, University of Wisconsin-Superior, and Maryville University.  He has been recognized for teaching excellence at previous universities and received the Max H. Lavine Award for Contemporary Research while at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.  He has had his research published in the Journal of Financial Research, Financial Practice and Education, Journal of Financial Planning, and has written over forty articles and done multiple interviews on the topic of reverse mortgages for the mainstream media.
