Phil Steed

Prior to his experience with Opportune, he was the President and Co-founder of NEXIDEA, a consulting firm that specialized in technical and economic analysis of the petroleum industry. Phil graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering before he moved on to get a Master of Business Administration degree from Oklahoma State University. Phil is also a registered professional engineer in three different states. He is passionate about being involved with Mizzou because it gives him a chance to interact with some of the brightest students in the state, as well getting to see how the university is progressing over time. Phil has one son, and one grandson, and he also loves to travel. He has been to six of the seven continents, with plans to cross Antarctica off the list sometime soon.
