A duo of Trulaske College of Business marketing students received high honors at the 2018 E. & J. Gallo Winery Invitational Competition, hosted at MU Oct. 4-5.

The Mizzou team, consisting of Nikki Buckles and Hannah Schuchts, won first place overall at the competition by placing first in the team marketing case portion and by Hannah placing second overall in the individual sales role play portion.

“This year’s competition exceeded all expectations for team and individual talent,” said Dr. Wayne Keene, the faculty coach and director of the Center for Sales and Customer Development. Wayne said he was extremely proud of the hard work and execution from all teams and, especially, from the Mizzou team. “Great corporate partners like E. & J. Gallo Winery continue to invest in the educational and experiential lives of students in ways that have long lasting positive impacts.”

Sponsored by the E. & J. Gallo Winery, this sales competition was hosted at the University of Missouri and featured a marketing case presentation for teams of students from visiting universities and a sales role play competition for individuals.
