Three accountancy alumni awarded for CPA high scores

Three alumni from the Trulaske College of Business accountancy program were recently honored with a 2019 Elijah Watt Sells Award. The award is given to CPA candidates who obtain a cumulative average score above 95.50 across all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination, pass all four sections on their first attempt and completed testing in 2019.

The three alumni who received this award are:

  • Jennifer Meyer, BS Acc ’19, M Acc ’19, employed with Plante Moran, PLLC in Boulder, Colorado.
  • Carson Paull, BS Acc ’18, M Acc ’18, employed with KPMG in Dallas, Texas.
  • Trevor Young, BS Acc ’18, M Acc ’18, employed with KPMG in Kansas City, Missouri.

This is the seventh consecutive year Mizzou graduates have earned this achievement, and the first year three alumni have received the award in the same year.
