The Speed of Trust: Accountancy co-sponsors leadership lecture

The School of Accountancy recently co-sponsored the 2nd Annual Novak Leadership Speaker Series, which was held on Wednesday, October 23, on the Mizzou campus.

The event’s keynote speaker was Stephen M.R. Covey, author of The Speed of Trust, who discussed how trust is crucial to the success of any leader and organization. The event also included a discussion about leadership with Covey and David Novak, BJ ’74, who partnered with the Missouri School of Journalism to fund the Novak Leadership Institute at MU. Novak is the co-founder, retired chairman and CEO of YUM! Brands.

This event was also held in partnership with the Novak Leadership Institute, MU Office of Extension and Engagement and Plante Moran.
