MU International Trade Center Awarded 2022 NASPA Best Practices Award
The MU International Trade Center at the Trulaske College of Business has been selected as the recipient of the 2022 Best Practices Award in International Education for International Programming by the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). An award ceremony was held between March 19-20 during the NASPA International Symposium in Baltimore, Maryland.
"Please join me in congratulating Jackie Rasmussen and the faculty and staff who work with Jackie on the tremendous offerings of our MU International Trade Center. This is a well-deserved award, and comes on the heels of the Business and International Education grant awarded in the fall semester by the US Department of Education," said Gay Albright, associate dean of academic programs and director of global initiatives.
The MU International Trade Center began in 2014 as a collaborative initiative of the University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business and the University of Missouri Extension Business Development Program. The goal of the MU International Trade Center is to promote economic development and aid in the international decision-making of Missouri businesses while providing MU students, tomorrow’s business leaders, opportunities for experiential learning.
