Marketing Department hosts Sales Excellence Awards ceremony
On April 28th, students, faculty and staff of the marketing department joined together to honor exceptional sales students with two awards: the Leading the Way award for excellence in sales leadership to advance the goals of the Center for Sales and Customer Development; and the Sales Excellence Award for students who achieved exceptional results at sales competitions in developing their professional sales acumen. Attendees gained the benefit of experience from the keynote speech delivered by Mizzou alumnus Melissa Hensley, AVP of Enterprise Healthcare at Qualtrics.

Leah Sharkey: for exceptional work study and event support for the Center for Sales and Customer Development and the Marketing Department
Skylar Bloch: in recognition of leadership in coordinating the Mizzou delegation for the Pi Sigma Epsilon Annual Conference
Andrew Berger: for involvement as an exceptional student and participant in the Inside Sales Lab
Regan Ragsdale: in recognition of leadership in coordinating the Mizzou team at the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) Collegiate Sales Competition
2022 Special Contributor Recognition
Vesna Johnson: in recognition of program support and coordination of Inside the Sales Lab activities
Katie Essing: in recognition of innovative sales simulation and experiential learning developments
Sales Excellence Award
This award is presented to one or more sales students each semester who show:
- Strong academic achievement in the sales-related curriculum.
- Professional promise.
- Good character and citizenship.
Recipients will also have performed well in at least one sales role-play competition during their junior or senior year.
