Imagine a DIY Pinterest board come to life. That’s Quirks, a crafty consignment shop featuring MU students’ handmade creations. The store originated through the Missouri Student Unions Entrepreneurial Program, which allows students to develop businesses in a prime location — the MU Student Center.

Co-founders Zach Beattie, Devin Kelsey, Natalie Cheng and Kate Gallagher vied for a low-risk consignment shop because it benefits entrepreneurs other than the foursome. “(Quirks) is spurring entrepreneurship for 60, 70 different artists on campus,” Kelsey says.
