Mary Daniels interned with the International Trade Center (ITC) during the spring 2025 semester and graduated in December 2025, earning her BSBA with an emphasis in marketing. She also earned certificates in Global Business, Digital Marketing and Sales.

“In interning with the International Trade Center, I gained a global perspective of business that I otherwise wouldn’t have experienced," Daniels said. "I learned how to find trade flow data, gather facts and key business and industry data about specific countries, and tailor a global expansion approach to a particular organization. In my case, that company was Becker, a leading provider of educational resources for professionals in accounting and finance. Now, as I kick off my first post-grad job with Gallagher, a global insurance brokerage, it feels exciting to have the chance to work with international clients and bring background knowledge of how global businesses operate.”

Throughout her time at Mizzou, Daniels was involved in a variety of organizations and meaningful experiences alongside her ITC internship. In her sophomore year, Daniels joined Collegiate DECA, and through that organization had the opportunity to compete in business competitions at both the regional and national levels. She was also an active team member and later leader on the Mizzou Sales Team, competing and bringing home hardware from every competition she attended.

During her junior year, she joined Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE), a sales and marketing business fraternity, and quickly assumed the role of vice president of marketing, where a primary focus was on supporting opportunities for PSE members to give back to the local community.  Daniels' passion for service continued into her senior year, when she volunteered as a Girls on the Run coach at Fairview Elementary School, leading young girls through important life lessons and confidence-building activities.

“All of these experiences kept me busy, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way,” Daniels said.

We wish Mary all the very best post-graduation. Her new position at Gallagher marks the beginning of an exciting next chapter for Mary and provides her with the opportunity to leverage and apply the knowledge, skills and talents developed within the Trulaske College of Business.
