Many women report that dealing with conflict and negotiating with others is something that they struggle with.

On March 18, the Trulaske College of Business will present “Understanding the Art of Negotiation and Conflict Management,” featuring Melissa Null, senior litigation counsel for EquipmentShare, and Megan Steen, vice president of Burrell Behavioral Health Central Region.

Null, BA ’01, JD ’04, has nearly 20 years of experience in litigating and managing contentious disputes. She will discuss general negotiation principles and will provide tips for navigating contentious conversations and negotiations.

Steen, BSW ’08, MSW ’09, MBA ’21, will discuss ways in which individuals can better protect themselves and others from stressful situations that involve conflict. She is passionate about destigmatizing conversations about mental health and ensuring that individuals and communities have access to mental health care.

The panel will be moderated by Assistant Professor Joel Andrus from the Management Department at the Trulaske College of Business.
