Student Financial Aid 

These courses qualify for financial aid. Before going to the Financial Aid Office (11 Jesse Hall), download the financial aid worksheet from myStudyAbroad for your program. It is highly recommended all students meet with their Financial Aid advisor to discuss paying for study abroad. 

Scholarships 

The Trulaske Study Abroad scholarship application is available through Scholarship Universe. These generous opportunities are made possible by the college's supporters who see value in connecting students to global experiences through study abroad. To find the application log into Missouri.ScholarshipUniverse.com, select Applications on the left-hand side, and find the Trulaske Study Abroad application. Deadlines for applications are October 1 for winter intercession/spring semester programs and February 15 for summer/fall programs.

Albright First Generation College Student Scholarship ($1,000)

This scholarship is for business students who are the first in their family to attend a college or university. Students planning to study abroad for a full semester or a short-term study abroad program may apply.

Alumni & Student Study Abroad Support Scholarship ($500)

Students who are engaged in pursuing a degree in the Trulaske College of Business may apply. 

Audrey Walsworth Fund for International Experiences (amounts vary)

Through a generous donation from the Walsworth family, Trulaske will award a significant scholarship to students with financial need as determined by FAFSA and are participating in the Walsworth Study Abroad Program. Audrey Walsworth is an esteemed alumna of the University of Missouri and is notably one of the few women to visit every country and territory in the world. Each year the Walsworth Study Abroad Program is inspired by Audrey’s travels. 

Franz Scholarship ($1,000)

Retired professor Charles Franz created short-term, business-focused study abroad programs for the Trulaske College of Business. He and his family established this scholarship to support business students who have financial need so that they may have an international educational experience. The scholarship will be awarded to students planning to participate on Trulaske short-term study abroad programs.

Global Mindset Scholarship (Up to $1,000)

This scholarship is for students in need who are enrolled in the Trulaske College of Business participating in a study abroad program.

Smith Family Scholarship ($1,000)

Five need-based scholarships are available for any Mizzou student interested in studying abroad for a semester, year, summer or intersession on a Mizzou, Mizzou-affiliated or non-Mizzou program. Two of these scholarships are reserved for students in the Trulaske College of Business.

Stephen and Madonna Ferris Scholarship for Excellence ($1,000)

This scholarship is for students in need who are enrolled in the Trulaske College of Business participating in a study abroad program, with first preference given to students studying in central/eastern Europe and second preference given to students in any other European study abroad program.

Swigunski Global Career Scholarship (Up to $1,000)

This scholarship is for students in need who are enrolled in the Trulaske College of Business participating in a study abroad program and have earned a 3.25 GPA or higher. Students will be required to complete an application that includes academic program details, academic achievement information, and organizational involvement, and to write an essay on their reasons for studying abroad and their academic and career aspirations.

Trulaske College of Business Study Abroad Scholarships (Amount may vary; typically $1,000)

Students who are engaged in pursuing a degree in the Trulaske College of Business may apply. Students should express in their essay how study abroad will support their professional endeavors.
