How has Trulaske helped you prepare for your future career? 

“Trulaske has prepared me for my career in a multitude of ways. I’ve gained a lot of professional and hands-on experience through Edge Events. From attending a luncheon with top-name CEO’s, to learning how to craft the perfect resume, the College of Business has it all. I love all the resources available at our disposal and would 100% recommend checking out Business Career Services if you haven’t already!”

What’s one thing every student should do before graduating? 

“One thing every student should do before graduating is jump in the Tiger Fountain. As silly as it sounds, that’s been one of my core memories I've made with my best friends on campus, and it should be on every Tiger’s Mizzou checklist!”

What’s your best piece of advice for new students? 

“My best piece of advice for new students is that if you see something that looks interesting, try it! Time goes by very quickly and you will be glad you tried something new, even if you don’t end up liking it.”

Why did you choose the Trulaske College of Business? 

“I decided to pursue a finance degree through Trulaske because there were so many opportunities embedded within the program. I have had the opportunity to network with new people, grow professional skills, and also study abroad.”

“I chose Trulaske because of the large amount of personalization for your degree. There are four emphasis areas, and there are also countless minors, certificates, and opportunities to make your degree truly you own.”

Where is your favorite place on campus? 

“My favorite place on campus is the quad. I love to go on walks during lunch to see the architecture of the buildings and appreciate the beautiful campus I study and work at!”

“I chose the Trulaske College of Business because of its nationally recognized accountancy program, study abroad opportunities, and welcoming advisors and staff. Cornell Hall felt like home the minute I set foot in the building!”

What’s your favorite place on campus? 

“Lowry Mall – I love walking through Lowry and seeing the pretty views of Memorial Union and Ellis Library, especially during the fall season. Lowry also hosts fun flea markets and events for students that I love to attend!”

“I chose Trulaske because the Accountancy program is one of the best in the country, offering incredible preparation for the CPA and real-world experience. Beyond academics, the college has a welcoming and supportive community that makes a large campus feel personal. The resources available at a big school like Mizzou, including networking events, student organizations, and professional development programs, create endless opportunities to grow and succeed.”

What’s your favorite spot on campus to study or hangout? 

“My favorite place to hang out is the Cornell Atrium because I get to see friends from my business classes and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of Trulaske. When I need to focus, I like studying in the quiet rooms at Ellis Library since they help me stay organized and be my most productive.”

Favorite spot on campus? 

“One of my favorite spots on campus is the Stankowski track. During my first two years living on campus at Mizzou, I loved taking walks there with my friends. The scenery was so pretty, and there were plenty of activities happening around the area, so it was always entertaining.”
