June 2: Connecting the Dots – The Role of Insurance Agencies.  Join us for the series kick off and an industry primer.  Learn how we’re meeting the needs of businesses today and building solutions for tomorrow. Join Kate Moher (Employee Health & Benefits) and Denise Perlman (Business Insurance) for this overview.
During this session, you’ll also learn more about a special scholarship program available to you through the Council if Insurance Agents and Brokers (CIAB).

June 4: Insurance 101
Insurance brokers work across all industries – from manufacturers and health care providers to schools and tech startups. Learn how we align insurance solutions with risks unique to each industry, in both the employee health and benefits practice and the property/casualty practice.
During this call, you’ll hear from both Lauren Goodell, National Employee Health & Benefits Program Manager, and Jim Johnson, National Business Insurance Program Manager.

June 9: Selling a Solution
Learn how MMA’s sales pros build a network, get in the door, and close deals using our unique sales process. Jen Miller, MMA’s SVP of Producer Development, works with MMA sales leaders and producers to create a sales culture, and you’ll get to hear directly from her during this fastpaced
session.

June 11: Big Data’s Role in Insurance
Learn how insurance brokers are able to analyze data to highlight trends that help employers make the most of their employee benefit programs. During this session, Peter Schultz, ASA, MAAA, Director of Actuarial and Underwriting Services, will show you the magic that happens
when we use real time data to inform decisions.

June 16: Panel Discussion – Leadership Today
During this panel discussion, you’ll hear from leaders across MMA how they navigate the challenges of leading a company through uncertainty.
Cindy Nevarez, MMA’s Director of Learning & Development, will moderate this fun conversation.

June 18 : Personal Brand/Networking
The final webinar in the Industry Explorer series is about YOU. As you prepare to begin your professional career, how do you create a professional brand for yourself? How will you best leverage the network you’ve built? In this session, Cristy Leon, Vice President, Business Services Group for MMA’s Florida region, will help you craft a solid plan for navigating your next steps as you embark on an exciting professional journey.
