Sophia Rivera Hassemer is the director of operations for the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) in the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri. A proud Mizzou graduate, she earned her B.S.Acc. in 2021, M.Acc. in 2021, and M.B.A. in 2023 from Mizzou. Since joining the CEI in 2021, Sophia has taught transformative technology-based workshops in the college's innovation space, consulted with student ventures and coordinated the CEI's Entrepreneurship Alliance program each spring. As a former student-athlete and captain of the track and field team for four years, Sophia brings strong leadership skills to her role. Her commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation at the university is evident through her collaborative efforts with students and her dedication to enhancing their entrepreneurial journeys.
