Sabuj Chandra Bhowmik is a Ph.D. student in the School of Accountancy at the Trulaske College of Business, University of Missouri-Columbia, in the fall of 2024. He holds an MSc in Environmental Management for Business from Cranfield University, United Kingdom (UK), with a prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship, and both MBA & BBA in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He was honored with the Dean’s Award from the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, for his academic excellence.

Sabuj is a Cost and Management Accountant licensed in Bangladesh. He is a member of the SDGs and ESG Committee of The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB). Before joining the doctorate studies, he taught as an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Bangladesh.

His research focuses on the archival aspects of financial reporting and disclosure, and Integrated Sustainability and ESG reporting. In leisure, he enjoys reading books, watching movies, and playing cricket.
