Luke Shin is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Marketing at the Trulaske College of Business at the University of Missouri’s Columbia campus. He has an MBA from Mississippi State University’s Meridian campus; however, his previous background was biomedical sciences (M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Mississippi Medical Center), psychology (B.S. in Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology), and neuroscience (B.S in Neuroscience from Georgia State University).
His research interests focus on consumer behavior, particularly involving smartphones and digital marketing. His prior research involved predictors of cognitive ability in adult survivors of pediatric brain tumors and comparative studies regarding cellphone psychology/addiction.
In his free time, he enjoys the simple comforts of chess, video games, books, and walks on nature trails.
