Kim Hedges
Kim Hedges is a senior career specialist in Business Career Services at the University of Missouri’s Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business. In this role she advises students on all aspects of their career development including resumes, cover letters, job/internship search strategies, creating and implementing professional development plans, including exploring and defining career goals, and helping students articulate their experiences. Additionally, Kim is the career liaison for the Heartland Scholars program and has been teaching in Mizzou’s FIG (Freshman Interest Group) program for the past 5 years.
Kim grew up in Columbia and earned a Master of Education in Higher Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs Leadership from Mizzou’s Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis program in 2013 and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Columbia College in 2003. Kim has been working in student services for more than 20 years.
Outside of work Kim enjoys spending time with her husband, Alex, their two daughters, Lily and Grace, and their dog Jocelyn.
