Joe Collins is excited to join the team in the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business. Collins first arrived at the University of Missouri as a User Support Analyst for Missouri School of Journalism in January of 2012. In September of 2019 Collins was promoted to Team Lead at the Journalism School.
Collins joined Trulaske in February 2024 to Serve as the IT Manager. He also serves as the IT Manager for the Missouri School of Journalism and the College of Education & Human Development.
Prior to joining the University of Missouri, he served as a PC Support Technician in the Academic Technology Department at Blinn College in Bryan, Texas for 6 years. Collins earned an Associate of Science in Business Information Systems at Blinn College. He also served in the US Army for 5 years from 2001 to 2006, and served two tours in Iraq.
In his free time Collins enjoys playing Euro-Style Strategy board games and camping with his wife and two kids. He is the proud father of an Eagle Scout daughter, the first Eagle scout of troop 523, and an aspiring Eagle Scout son.
