Jill Wood is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Management Department at the University of Missouri’s Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business. Dr. Wood teaches Advanced Professional Development and other courses within the Edge Program. Dr. Wood brings over 30 years of experience to her teaching, including serving as the Chief HR Officer for an organization of 3,000 employees and delivering employee leadership development programs for over 15 years. She also served as a management consultant in the Strategic Change practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting.
Dr. Wood has a doctoral degree from MU's Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis program. Her research interests include issues related to higher education employment, including work engagement, job satisfaction, and professional identity of education staff members. Dr. Wood earned a Master of Education degree from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree from Briar Cliff College.
