Jialu Shen

Jialu Shen is an Assistant Professor in the Finance Department at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, University of Missouri. Her research focuses on Household Finance, Asset Pricing and Portfolio Allocation. Recent work has focused on examining how countercyclical earnings risk affects consumption and portfolio choice over the life-cycle, and its implication on asset pricing.

Prior to joining Trulaske College of Business, Shen obtained a BSc in Information and Computing Science and a BSc in Financial Statistics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, an MSc in Financial Mathematics from University of Warwick, an MSc in Management from London Business School, and a PhD in Finance from Imperial College Business School.
