Jeffery (Zhenhao) Piao

Jeffery Piao is an Assistant Professor of Accountancy. He teaches intermediate financial accounting at the School of Accountancy, University of Missouri. His research focuses on information dissemination mechanisms in the capital markets, including corporate disclosure and private interactions among market participants. He has volunteered for multiple AAA Annual and Sectional meetings as a reviewer and received the Financial Accounting and Reporting Section (FARS) Excellence in Review Award for his reviewing activity for the 2022 FARS Midyear Meeting. Piao graduated with his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Florida in 2022. Prior to his Ph.D., he obtained his B.S. in Accounting with University Honors and Master of Accounting Science degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
