Cyrus is a Ph.D. candidate in the Management Department at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, University of Missouri. His research focuses on two interconnected areas: understanding how organizations make critical human resource management decisions, and examining how the design and implementation of human resource management practices influence employees’ motivational processes.
Through his work, Cyrus investigates how practices such as staffing and compensation influence performance outcomes at both the employee and firm levels. He is also interested in understanding how experiences of adversity shape employee attitudes and behaviors within organizations.
Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, Cyrus performed studies in both Canada and the United Kingdom at the undergraduate and graduate level.
