Melody Marcks
Central Bank of Boone County
Marcks is a senior vice president and director of human resources with Central Trust Bank. She holds a Bachelor of Science in business and public administration from the University of Missouri, cum laude. She graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She holds certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society of Human Resources – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), as well certifications as a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
Marcks’ expertise is in human resources, training and management. She serves on the Executive Committee, Asset/Liability, Crisis Management and Strategic Planning committees of the Central Trust Bank in the mid-Missouri markets. She is an executive liaison for the Central Investment Advisors. She currently serves on Trulaske's Management Advisory Board and the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau with the City of Columbia. Marcks oversees the community involvement volunteer activities and events for Central Bank of Boone County and Central Bank of Audrain County, working with many local nonprofits.
Marcks worked for 22 years with Shelter Insurance Companies before joining Central Trust Bank. She has two sons, Carter and Dayton Marcks, both alumni of Mizzou.
