The Trulaske College of Business at the University of Missouri has been recognized by the 36th Annual Telly Awards for its innovative Centennial Speaker Series. The series features interviews conducted by Joan Gabel, Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. Dean, with 10 distinguished business leaders who discuss the current and future state of business and how the college is preparing its students for that future. Using the latest technology in video editing and social media, the Trulaske College of Business provided wide access to these interviews while maximizing engagement with its constituencies. The Centennial Speaker Series, which is hosted on the college’s YouTube page in easy-to-follow segments, was launched at the start of 2014 as part of the Trulaske College of Business Centennial Celebration.

The Telly Awards were founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films.  Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world. This year, winners were selected among nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries.
