Wade Foster and Mike Knoop, former Trulaske College of Business students who co-founded tech startup Zapier in 2011, were featured in Forbes’ 30-under-30 series. Zapier was born five years ago during Columbia’s inaugural Startup Weekend - which it won - and moved to the Y Combinator in Silicon Valley shortly thereafter. To date, the company has raised about $2.5 million and now employs 62 workers.

Wade was back in Columbia for Startup Weekend last fall and met with students in the Crosby MBA program, which he graduated from in 2011.

The Forbes 30 Under 30 series features young, emerging change-makers and innovators across 20 different industries in the U.S.
