Former International Trade Center Intern Elizabeth (Libby) Broadhurst has accepted a position as a central flow lead at Amazon in its corporate office in Nashville, Tennessee.  Broadhurst interned with ITC in the University of Missouri’s Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business as a junior in fall 2023. She graduated from Mizzou in May 2025 with her BSBA in business with an emphasis in management and a minor in economics. She also earned certificates in global business and global supply chain management.

Broadhurst will leverage the knowledge, skills and talents she developed within the Trulaske College of Business and apply them at Amazon, as she works collaboratively with talented colleagues to drive operational excellence and contribute to Amazon’s mission of “delivering smiles to customers worldwide”.

“Interning with the ITC in fall 2023 was an incredibly valuable experience that enhanced both my professional and personal development,” Broadhurst said. “I gained hands-on exposure to international business practices, strengthened my research and communication skills, and developed a deeper understanding of global markets. The internship often sparked meaningful conversations during interviews and helped me stand out by providing real-world examples of cross-cultural collaboration and analytical work. This experience ultimately helped better position me for the next step in my career. After graduation, I’m excited to be moving to Nashville to begin my role with Amazon in their operations division, where I look forward to applying the skills and global perspective I developed through my internship with ITC.”
