COLUMBIA, Mo. — August 2025 — The Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri is proud to announce Digital Strike, Targeted Marketing as the official corporate partner of this year’s TruWelcome celebration. The annual event marks the beginning of the academic year and welcomes new business students into the Trulaske community.

This year’s TruWelcome will feature greetings from Dean Balaji Rajagopalan, Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs Gay Albright, and Assistant Dean Shannon Breske. TruWelcome serves as the official start of the fall 2025 semester. The event is designed to launch students into a successful academic experience by creating a sense of belonging and pride within the Trulaske College of Business.

“At Trulaske, we believe in preparing our students not only for their first job, but for a lifetime of leadership and impact. We do this through our commitment to transformative technology, experience-centered learning, and an entrepreneurial mindset,” Rajagopalan said. “TruWelcome is where this journey begins, and I am inspired by the energy, curiosity, and ambition our students bring to campus. With the support of partners like Digital Strike, who share our dedication to innovation and opportunity, we are showing students the power of collaboration between education and industry. Together, we will shape the future of business and society.”

Ryan Murray, director of Employer and External Relations, emphasized the value of the partnership.

“We are pleased to partner with Digital Strike, Targeted Marketing to present this year’s TruWelcome,” Murray said. “Each year, more and more students join the Trulaske College of Business family, and we want to make sure they remember these important moments. Chris and Sheila Westmeyer are dedicated and passionate University of Missouri supporters, and we look forward to them being a part of the Trulaske story for many more years to come.”

The Trulaske College of Business is proud to invite all new students to TruWelcome on Friday, Aug. 22, in Cornell Hall. During this exciting day, students will have the chance to hear from advisors, meet faculty and staff, connect with current students, learn about Trulaske’s outstanding programs, and enjoy free food and community.
