Alumna promoted to head restaurant chain's investor relations, corporate communications

SAN DIEGO – Restaurant chain Jack in the Box Inc. announced that it had promoted Trulaske College of Business alumna Carol A. DiRaimo to Chief Investor Relations and Corporate Communications Officer. DiRaimo earned her bachelor’s degree in accountancy from MU in 1983 and previously served as Jack in the Box Inc.’s Vice President of Investor Relations & Corporate Communications since joining the company in 2008.

"Carol has been a trusted partner amongst our executive leadership team and board of directors,” said Lenny Comma, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “Her unique perspective, out-of-the-box thinking and unwavering passion for our business make her one of the most respected executives at the table."

DiRaimo has more than 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry and six years of public accounting experience at Deloitte. Prior to joining Jack in the Box Inc., she was Vice President of Investor Relations for Applebee's International, Inc., where she served in a variety of capacities over 14 years, including financial planning and reporting, treasury and corporate analysis, before heading the investor relations function.

In addition to her degree from MU, DiRaimo also has an Executive MBA from Rockhurst University, where she also serves on its Board of Trustees.
