Scott Shade

Scott has a pulse on the overall Trulaske brand, strategies for communicating our vision, mission and values. He sees the big picture for all Trulaske’s marketing and communications and helps align them with reason, objectives and outcomes. He also has a graphic design background and assists with the design and production of pieces like The Lead, rebranding Davenport and impact reports. He ensures that we’re telling our stories in a comprehensive and strategic way, with reach and timing for maximum engagement among our audiences.

Chelsey Nemphos

Chelsey Nemphos is the senior executive assistant to the Dean at the University of Missouri’s Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business. In her current role, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the Dean’s Office, managing the Dean’s schedule, preparing meeting briefings, coordinating events and travel, serving as the college coordinator for the promotion and tenure process, and acting as a key liaison across college departments to ensure efficient administrative operations.

Austin McMahan

Austin is a Senior Business Support Specialist at Trulaske, having joined the team in 2025. With eight years of experience in retail management, he brings a strong background in customer service and operational efficiency to his role. Austin is passionate about growing his career in business and accountancy. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and dog, as well as being outdoors.

Angela Sutton

Angela Sutton is a manager in the fiscal office at the Robert A. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business.

As a dedicated financial services professional, Sutton formerly served as the financial services unit supervisor at the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Division of Cannabis Regulation since January 2023. Her responsibilities included managing the division’s budget, accounting, procurement and financial processes.

Balaji Rajagopalan

Dr. Balaji Rajagopalan serves as the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. Dean of the Trulaske College of Business. Throughout his career, Dr. Rajagopalan’s leadership has inspired team efforts that strengthened and enhanced the reputation of programs and institutions. Global initiatives include program launches in Asia and South America. He has a strong record of building, sustaining and leveraging relationships with alumni, industry, government and business leaders.

Matt Stacy

Matt Stacy joined the Trulaske College of Business as an administrative assistant in the Dean’s Office in 2023. Previously, he worked in retail management at HyVee and Academy Sports + Outdoors. A native son of Columbia, Stacy graduated from Hickman High School in 2011 with his GED. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his two dogs, reading, writing and partaking in nerdy hobbies with his friends.

Mary Beth Marrs

Mary Beth Marrs is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Management Department and serves as the Harry M. Cornell, Jr. Director of the Cornell Leadership Program and is the Director of the Heartland Scholars Academy. Marrs was on the business faculty at Idaho State University prior to returning to the MU College of Business in 2000 as a visiting professor. In July 2003, she was appointed assistant dean for undergraduate programs.
