In Poets&Quants’ 2026 list of Best Undergraduate Business Schools, the University of Missouri’s Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business has landed at No. 22 among the public universities included on the list.

“We set our sights on being a top 25 Undergraduate Business Program among public universities,” said Balaji Rajagopalan, Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. Dean of the Trulaske College of Business. “This is a moment of great pride. Our gratitude to the entire community of faculty, staff, students, alumni, friends, and partners for their unwavering commitment to the college's success.”

In career outcomes, Trulaske landed at No. 9 among public universities.

“Trulaske is committed not only to providing a quality business education, but also a path to meaningful and fulfilling employment for our graduates,” said Gay Albright, associate dean of undergraduate programs and David and Judy O’Neal MBA professor in the Trulaske College of Business. “Our strong career outcomes reflect mentorship by our dedicated faculty, alliance-building between our staff and corporate partners, and a thriving and highly engaged alumni community.”

P&Q launched its undergraduate business school ranking in 2016. According to P&Q, its rankings are designed to measure what students value most: how selective a program is, what students experience once they arrive and what outcomes they achieve after graduation.

Rankings take into account factors like the 6-year graduation rate, average high school GPA, acceptance rates and SAT/ACT scores.

Another important component of the rankings are academic experiences, which are based on a survey of recent alumni.

“The success of our recent Trulaske alumni reflects the professional development opportunities they engaged in during their time at Mizzou in the classroom, in the Trulaske Edge program and through internships,” said Shannon Ferguson, Trulaske’s director of Career Services. “These opportunities prepare them to be career ready and to be leaders as they enter the business world.  We are grateful for our supporters – alumni and corporate partners – who provide these meaningful opportunities for Trulaske students every day.”

On a 10.0 scale, Trulaske was rated:

  • 8.9 in terms of recommending the program to a close friend, colleague, or family member
  • 8.4 in terms of satisfaction with finding the first job after graduation at a desired company
  • 8.3 for quality of teaching
  • 8.2 for the availability of faculty members for mentoring outside class, extracurricular activities designed to develop business skills, and the program’s development of “soft skills”
  • 8.1 for how well the program prepared them for the world of work

“These high marks from recent graduates reaffirm our commitment to Trulaske’s three pillars of success: experience-centered learning, transformative technology and entrepreneurial mindset,” Rajagopalan said. “We look forward to building upon that success as we help to prepare the next generation of business leaders.”

Mizzou’s Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business prepares students for success as global citizens, business leaders, scholars, innovators and entrepreneurs by providing access to transformative technologies, offering experience-centered learning opportunities and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset.
