Role

John Hansen is a data analyst in the Undergraduate Dean’s Office in the University of Missouri’s Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business. He supports data analysis and research initiatives that inform student success strategies and decision-making within the college. Hansen studied quantitative research methodology and computer science at Indiana University and was a National Institutes of Health (NIH) postdoctoral fellow in neuropsychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. As a researcher with the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative, he authored the Hansen Research Services Matrix Adaptive Test (HRS-MAT), a computer-adaptive assessment of nonverbal IQ. Outside of work, Hansen enjoys playing tennis and squash, as well as running, swimming and backpacking in the Rocky Mountains and along the Pacific Coast.
