Roy Greenway has uncovered and reported numerous frauds including instances of kickbacks, collusion, billing for non-existent goods & services, bid rigging, misuse of confidential data, overbilling for labor and materials, violation of court orders, use of substandard materials during construction, violations of company policies, and a variety of other violations of trust. He has been an officer and/or board member of local chapters of Certified Fraud Examiners primarily functioning to find qualified speakers to address members training needs. Roy has particular interests in finding various kinds of vendor fraud, utilizing effective data mining techniques, interview / interrogation process to obtain and document confessions and applying the new investigative tools that become available such as Benford’s Law and email analytics. He is active in the Church of Christ and addresses those audiences concerning fraud risks within the local congregation. Roy and his wife Ronda have been married for 42 years, they have 3 children; one of them is a CPA / CFE too. He currently is the Internal Auditor for the City of Kansas City, Missouri and reports directly to the City Manager.
