Rachel Wilson is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Accountancy. She received a J.D. (1998) from University of Missouri-Columbia and an LL.M. in Taxation (2000) from New York University. She has worked as a tax consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in St. Louis and New York City, as a tax attorney with Blackwell Sanders Peper Martin LLP in St. Louis and, most recently, as a tax attorney with Jones Day in Dallas for nine years. While working at Jones Day, where her primary tax emphasis was multistate tax planning and controversy, she presented at numerous professional seminars and classes on state and local tax topics. She has
published tax-related articles in various professional journals, including Journal of State Taxation (CCH), Journal of MultiState Taxation and Incentives, BNA Tax Planning International Review, Corporate Business Taxation Monthly (CCH), BNA Tax Management Multistate Tax Report, and BNA Tax Management Weekly State Tax Reporter. tax classes at Mizzou.
