Amanda joined the University of Missouri doctoral program in the Fall of 2014. Her research interests include employee health and well-being, with a particular focus on how engaging in physical activity impacts employees. Furthermore, she seeks to understand employees’ fundamental psychological needs and how they affect employees’ energy at work. Her current research is in preparation for top-tier journals. Previous research is forthcoming in the Journal of Personnel Psychology.
Before joining the PhD program, Amanda worked as a Communications Center Supervisor in Hays, Kan. In her personal time, Amanda enjoys spending time with family, cooking and being physically active.
