Columbia, Missouri—October 18, 2011—The University of Missouri at Columbia's first executive MBA program was announced today by Trulaske College of Business Dean Joan T.A. Gabel.
Dr. David A. West, a professor and former Finance Department chair who taught more than 11,000 students at MU's Trulaske College of Business during a span of 44 years, died Wednesday in Columbia of complications due to polio. He was 77.
Ingram's Magazine selected Dr. Bruce Walker, Lansford Professor of Leadership and Professor of Marketing at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business, as one of its 2011 Icons of Education in January.

University of Missouri School of Accountancy graduates ranked #14 in the most recent national Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam pass rate rankings. This ranking was based on the pass rate for the graduates with advanced degrees, who took the CPA exam for the first time last year.
